VOTING
-----------------== BALLOT ==--------------------
... please vote for the following by October 1.....
1) Top 5 Mixes (Best Overall)
- combining song selection with adherence to theme and title. packaging can also be considered, but fancy artwork wasn't required...so use your own judgment.
[1st place = 5 points, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 3 etc....]
2) Best Individual Song
- a particular song from one of the mixes which struck a chord. maybe it was an artist you'd never heard before and were introduced to through the mix contest, or a song you use to love but hadn't heard in years. whatever you want to interpret this vote as...
- please supply song name/artist and Mix from where it came.
[1 point for the mix]
3) Best Theme Idea
- regardless of songs selected, the most creative and interesting theme idea
[1 point]

IDEA
Participants in the challenge each create one mix CD. Participants then are responsible for burning multiple
copies of that CD, one copy for each of the other participants. Those CDs are then delivered to the organizer (me). Once I received all the copies of all the discs, one copy of each mix is redistributed to all the participants.
Participants listen to all the CDs and then rank those CDs (excluding their own). A winner is decided based on the votes. Besides serious bragging rights, the winner gets some kind of prize. I don't know what yet.
THIS TIME
This Mix Contest is a Theme Mix contest. There are a few changes from the last mix contest. Most
importantly this time you are required to have a *theme*. (Hooray! A THEME.) The theme can be whatever you want, but you
gotta have one. If you feel, like, creatively constrained (noooo waaaay duuuuude!) or something by the presence of a theme, well...there's not much I can do about that. This is a theme mix contest, so you have to have a theme, that's just how it goes.
Every mix also has to have a title. (Hooray! A TITLE!) That
title should somehow relate to the theme. (All that A, B, C, D stuff
last time was somewhat confusing to everyone, but done out of necessity
since there were a number of mixes with no title - which, of course, was
partially my fault since my directive on titling wasn't very clear.
Whatever... v2.1, new and improved, download this patch, crunchy red
strips, blah blah blah...)
